Scott Fraser Training Ltd - Terms & Conditions
The following Conditions of Booking form the basis of your contract with Scott Fraser Training. In these Conditions of Booking “you” and “your” means the first named person on the Booking Form or contatc email. “We”, “us” and “our” means Scott Fraser Training.
Should you need to cancel your place on the course or assessment once it has been confirmed, you must immediately advise us in writing and your notice of cancellation will only be effective when we receive it in writing at our offices or by acknowledged email. If you cancel attendance within 20 working days then 50% of the course fee will be charged, if you cancel within 14 working days then the full amount will be charged unless the course space can be filled by another person.
If the course has been booked specifically for you and is cancelled within 20 working days, the full fee will be due.
Scott Fraser Training Ltd will endeavor to run events as planned, however if we need to cancel, those already booked will receive a full refund of any monies paid, or a transfer to a subsequent course at their choice although will not be reimbursed for any loss of earnings or expenses this cancellation may entail.
A minimum £200 deposit payment secures your place on a course, the balance is due 7 days before the course start date or if a credit account is agreed 14 days following the completion of the course. Overdue invoices will incur an administrative charge of 10%.
In all cases where any discount is given by Scott Fraser Training Ltd, such discount shall only apply subject to full settlement within 14 days of invoice date – AFTER THIS PERIOD THE FULL AMOUNT (WITHOUT DISCOUNT) SHALL BE REQUIRED IN SETTLEMENT.
Please check the description (as set out in the SFT PDF and the Lantra Awards Course Portfolio sheet of your course) carefully and make sure it meets with your requirements. If in doubt please request more information.
Prices quoted for are for training and City & Guilds NPTC Assessment fees. If you require a different assessment date, there may be an additional fee.
Minimum Course durations - Minimum durations are set out by Lantra as recommended for all the theory & practical skills to be demonstrated and allow sufficient practice time for most trainees. This may mean you need more practice time than allowed for in the course duration.
Refresher Courses – marked R in LA portfolio are generally shorter and are only suitable for experienced operators that have received previous training and are already holders of the relevant NPTC certificate or Lantra ITA Certificate. Refresher courses are fast paced and to enable all topics to be covered a certain level of knowledge is assumed. If in doubt please contact us to request further information.
Accommodation/Transport: Unless otherwise stated, courses do not include accommodation. Where required, accommodation can be arranged by Scott Fraser Training Ltd at various local hotels or guests houses. Transport to and from hotels etc., may be arranged at a nominal extra cost.
