Go Climb A Tree

Experience life in the trees!

This 1 day experience is aimed at people who would like to experience climbing a tree with ropes.  It is a great day for a small group or friends or family to enjoy - whether they are 6 or 60, it's enjoyable! Our youngest client has been 4!

We offer the novice a comprehensive introduction to the equipment, skills and excitement of tree climbing. A typical one day programme will include:

Aerial refresher training

HSE recommend refresher training - this can introduce new techniques, add value to skills and experience

Aerial rescue in particular is highlighted as requiring regular practice and updating.

INDG317 Chaisnaws at work recommends that refresher/ update training takes place every 3-5 years.

We can offer refresher training in different ways:

  • attend a day or two (depending on the course) of an existing course
  • bespoke refresher training tailored to your requirements

Aerial Tree Rigging (L3)

Using modern lowering equipment to control and safely remove heavy limbs and carry out dismantling and sectional felling. Compare the Hobbs Lowering device and the GRCS side by side. Can include option to bring your ground crew for fully integrated training.
