This is the ideal Programme for someone who has aspirations of becoming a City & Guilds assessor or a Lantra Awards Instructor.
Our Programme follows the Lantra Awards and City & Guilds format, which starts with a focus on ground based chainsaw skills.
Rationale
The whole application process can appear daunting, unless you know and have the support of an exisitng City & Guilds assessor or a Lantra Awards Instructor.
With over 30 years in the Forestry and Arb industry and 20 years training and assessing experience, Scott is in a great position to mentor you. He is passionate about supporting people to develop their skills and experience; empowering people to realise their potential and promoting high standards throughout the industry.
Is this Mentoring Programme suitable for me?
- Time in industry – this is generally suited for someone who has been in the industry for at least 10 years. You are more likely to have seen a wide range of equipment / scenarios
 - Range of experience – you may have worked in forestry / arboriculture / horticulture / or have transferable skills from other sectors
