Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER), a thorough examination of Arboricultural lifting equipment training.

This is aimed at those people who would like to inspect lifting equipment in the arboricultural industry. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 require that all lifting equipment is subject to regular thorough examinations by a competent person.

• inspect a range of arboricultural lifting equipment
• recognise faults/ defects in equipment competently
• know various loads and limits involved with arboricultural rigging equipment 

There is a written and practical assessment.

We recommend attendees have a good knowledge of a variety of equipment and have practical experience of using the equipment.

Training should be refreshed every 3-5 years.
